Call To Order
Chairman Klopchin called the meeting to order at 2:58PM.

Kingsley Bridge Rehab (time sensitive request)
Katie explained that she received an email today from JB McCarthy, the VTrans Project
Manager for the Kingsley Bridge rehab. They’ve requested a longer timeline for the project,
per the contractors’ request. VTrans needed an answer as soon as possible since they
would like to open bids Friday 12/2. They’re asking that the bridge be closed from May 15,
2023-February 29, 2024. Selectman Congdon was not present but voiced his opinion via
email, saying “it is what it is….I don’t see making this a huge issue and running the risk of
derailing the timeline of the project.” Treasurer, Heidi, suggested requiring VTrans to send
out notices about the extended closure to the affected parties. Selectman Bixby wondered
why the urgency with VTrans. Selectman Menard figured that most contractors are
planning for the following year, thus VTrans urgency to award the bid. Selectman Menard
motioned to approve Vtrans updated request of closing the bridge from May 15, 2023-
February 29, 2024, with a final completion date of May 31, 2024, Selectman Ruane
seconded. The motion passed unopposed.
