NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Private Road Name Creation
The Selectboard of the Town of Clarendon is required by 24 V.S.A. § 2291 (16) and 24 V.S.A. § 4421 to conduct a hearing when a new private road name is needed.
In response to a request for new E911 addresses located on the drive that extends from Squires Road to the Wunderland Pet Lodge, it is deemed that the driveway will need a new private road name as three or more residences shall be defined as a private road.
Public input on what this private road should be named is welcomed ahead of this hearing. Please email your practical name suggestions and supporting reasons to the Clarendon Select Board’s Administrative Assistant at clarendonadmasst@comcast.net
